I grew up in Chicago and spent all the time I could immersing myself in the culture of the city. Sticking close to my roots, I attended The University of Illinois at Chicago where I received my BFA in Graphic Design. During college, I began working at restaurants for additional income, and immediately fell in love with the industry.
In hopes of owning a restaurant myself one day, I have continued to work in restaurants from a new perspective – as a designer. I've been honing my design skills working for food and beverage companies where I've had many unique opportunities and have met some of the most talented people in the industry.
The time I spend away from the laptop involves cooking elaborate meals for family and friends, cycling, moonlighting at restaurants and searching for the best happy hour in the city.
